Tom (Mezzy) Hiles is a founding Black Water Band member with influences ranging from Metallica, Rage Against the Machine and Stevie Ray Vaughan, to Chris LeDoux, George strait and George Jones.  He has been avidly playing and singing for over 25 years. Tom joined forces with Tony and Marty as a guitarist in the spring of 2004 to form the Black Water Band.  He served as the front man and lead vocalist until 2009, when he sustained a vocal injury, at which time he turned the mic over to Dustin. Tom still belts out 10 or 20 songs every show , but has put his focus into his guitar playing. He loves the crowd and welcomes meeting everyone at a show.  Be sure to come say hello to Mezzy.
